Calum Macnab stars in new Stone Foundation video

Stone Foundation video news -

We can officially announce the star of our new video is the fantastic Mr Calum Macnab, star of “The Firm”, “The Football Factory”, “Rock and Chips” and recently the excellent “Outside Bet” where he starred alongside Bob Hoskins.

The new Stone Foundation video “To Find The Spirit” will be exclusively shown at the end of all the “Keep on Keepin’ on” Nolan Porter/Stone Foundation film screenings throughout the rest of 2013!
So get yourself along to one of the dates below for an exclusive preview!

Tickets for this event can be reserved by mailing us here and will be £3, it will be on a first come first served basis as this cinema only holds 55 people!

An angelic presence and voice that we have respected & adored for many years graced our album, we are proud, privileged and honoured to announce that the wonderful Carleen Anderson will appear on our next release.
You can catch Carleen on the “Queens of Jazz” documentary that broadcasts on BBC 4 tonight.
All at SF would like to extend their thanks and gratitude and also wish Carleen a very Happy Birthday today !

New film coming to a cinema near you soon

A Short Film About Soul

The long awaited documentary featuring northern soul legend Nolan Porter and Stone Foundation will be screened at a selection of independent cinema’s this summer.
Dates confirmed so far include –

The Mac Theatre – Birmingham – June 22nd
The Duke of York – Lichfield – July 8th
Shortwave Cinema – London (Bermondsey) – July 15th

Ticket details, times and further dates will be announced at the start of next week.

The documentary follows Nolan and Stone Foundation’s sold out tour of the UK in 2012, with behind the scenes footage, guest interviews from Paolo Hewitt and Mark Baxter, exclusive studio footage and much, much more…………

Worked on the new SF video yesterday and its shaping up to be our best yet. Massive thanks to Mr Lee Cogswell and his magic eye, all the SF family and extras who took part and an especially big thank you to our special guest star for a brilliant days work, but who is it I hear you ask. All will be revealed in time.

Here’s something to hopefully help to warm up the cold March night’s and keep the soul flame burning until our UK tour later in the year. We’ve selected a handful of dates for the coming months in Wolverhampton, Brighton and Cardiff. The set’s will consist of Stone Foundation favourites from the last few years. Plus it will be a chance for you to hear some of the new material currently being put together for the new record live for the first time!

Looking forward to seeing some of you as we leave the studio for a short time for these special dates -
